Picking the Right Time for Profession to Make Lots of WoW Gold

When you are just starting out on a new server in World of Warcraft, you may eager want to know different professions that someone who has already got plenty of WoW gold.Sometimes the best question isn't which professions to pick--it's WHEN to pick them! Here are a few tips for picking the right profession for your character when you can benefit from it the best. A Copper Saved Is A Copper Earned At the low levels in WoW, there isn't a whole lot that you need to spend gold on. Gear can be obtained from quests and dungeons. Training is inexpensive, as are ground mounts. If you don't buy expensive items on the Auction House, it's easy to accumulate WoW gold. However, we all want our flying mount at level 60,and epic flying speed at 70! Saving up 5,000 gold may sound difficult, but if you break it down it's not that bad. If you can sell a stack of rugged leather for 100 gold, then you only need to gather 50 stacks while leveling to pay for your mount. Since many quests already direct you to kill beasts and other monsters in the area, this is an incredibly easy task. Entry Level Professions Most crafting professions require a significant investment of materials. Even if you gather these materials yourself, they are not totally free because of the opportunity cost of your time. If you don't have any gold, you are better off investing your time into gathering professions so you will have some spending WoW gold. If you're bankrolling your first character on a new server, or simply don't have any gold, then two gathering professions are the correct choice for you. Herbalism or Mining will both help you level faster while helping you build up some gold, and skinning is always winning. When To Take Up Crafting Part-Time Once you've saved up enough for your epic flying, and a bit extra for a rainy day, then you can start to think about leveling up a crafting profession. You will keep one gathering profession (probably skinning, since you won't need the XP boost at max level, but this is mostly personal preference.) Use your gathering profession to fund your crafting profession. Always pick up under-priced materials on the auction house when available, and sell materials that demand a high premium if you can get more of them easily. Double Your Crafting, Double Your Profit Once you've built up a sizable cash and material reserve, it's time to drop your gathering profession and pick up a second crafting profession. You will buy materials to use from the Auction House, and gather them while leveling alts. Having two crafting professions will give you access to a bigger portion of the marketplace, and having a lot of gold saved up will keep you from going broke leveling up and buying materials. If you know from the start which crafting professions you plan on learning, make sure to save up some gathered materials to use so you don't have to buy them later!
